The Western Pennsylvania Firefighters Memorial Honor Guard Pipes &
Drums was founded in 2001 and is the pride of the WPFM. Under the musical direction of Pipe Major Nichole
Kauer our Pipes & Drums continue to gain praise throughout the region and continues to grow.
As the Irish and Scottish immigrants built the fire service
within the United States to what it is today, it is great pride to have such skilled musicians as ours carrying the traditions
of the fire service forward to the next generation.
If you are interested in joining the W.P.F.M.H.G. Pipes and Drums and do not know how to play the pipes
or the drum we offer:
FREE bagpipe lessons and FREE Scottish drumming lessons, to learn please contact the Commander at 412-279-1641.
The WPFMHG P&D practice every other Wednesday night from 7:00PM to 9:00 PM at
our own practice hall at Headquarters.
